Eric Chevalier is a qualified winemaker (oenologue). After 10 years of experience at Vinival/les Grands chais de France as head of of their winery in Touraine (winmaking and negociant acivity), Eric took over the family estate in April 2006.

The domaine located near Grand Lieu, in the Val de Loire Atlantique. Of the 25 hectares of the domaine, cultivated in “lutte raisonnée” (integrated crop management), half are Muscadet Côtes de Grand Lieu and Gros Plant. For the Vins de Pays du Jardin de la France, a balance between white, red and rosé is achieved thanks to a varied planting of grape varieties.

The typical terroir and sunshine periods of the Sud Loire region allow the range of grape varieties to fulfill the expectations of the amateur of light and fruity wines. The great care given to our cuvées is regularly rewarded at regional and international competitions, due, in part, to controlled fermentations as well as to maturation and “batônnage” on fine lees. We also take great care at harvest time, to plan our vinification methods according to the maturity and the terroirs of the various plots.

Our appellation wines, as our cépage wines, are vinified and conditioned in a way which preserves the fruitiness and the elegance typical of our wine region. The loyalty of our customers, private buyers, professional wine merchants and restaurateurs, is a confirmation of our products’ consistency and remains, for us, the most agreeable acknowledgement of recognition towards our work.

The quality of our terroir, the work in the vineyard and the hope, every year, of a good vintage, seem to us to be our best assets in our bid to convince our future clients.
